Drinking the Green Stuff

Inspired by some people falling sick out of the blue (2 of them recently diagnosed with cancer – both of them are young and just had their first child), I decided to start living healthy and the fastest way to do that is by changing the type of food I eat (I know, I know…I will come to the “Exercise” part soon).

Gone fatty food (including nasi lemak), heavy load of rice for dinner and acidic food from my daily menu and in place I have increased the intake of vegetable and less oily food (even dropped off pisang goreng from my teh tarik sessions). My wife helps me there by making sure there are plenty of vegetables for dinner.

The other thing I am doing these days is drinking chlorophyll heavily early in the morning (one large mug before breakfast) and sparingly throughout the day (finishing about 1000 ml of the drink). And I am experiencing some sudden changes to my health. One problem that I had is upset stomach which I will normally experience after a heavy meal. After drinking, it has reduced drastically but then I have also reduced having “heavy meal”.

In case, you have not tried it, the chlorophyll drink is dark green in color and taste like Chinese tea or sometimes like plain water, depending how diluted the chlorophyll is.

The main effect of drinking chlorophyll is reducing toxins from the body. A summary of the benefits that I hastily googled out from the net (there is more I know but I am a bit lazy to “cut and paste” the info):-

Chlorophyll, the green “blood” of plant life is made by plants through a chemical process called photosynthesis. And amazingly, it essentially has the same effects in the body as iron, so it builds our own blood naturally. Catabolic and anabolic at the same time, liquid chlorophyll is a powerful detoxifier and tonic. It cleanses the blood and builds red blood cells while doing it.

Chlorophyll heals chronic conditions both internally and externally, and stops the growth and development of toxic bacteria. Chlorophyll removes toxins from the bones, blood tissues, and intestines. And because chlorophyll helps to thicken and strengthen the walls of the cells, it is also a nutritional aid for the immune system.

Liquid chlorophyll counteracts toxins; the result is that the body heals faster. It also works in purifying the liver, eliminates old toxic material, and deodorizes the bowels and the entire body. In the colon, liquid chlorophyll helps keep the colon healthy by destroying disease causing bacteria. It works well in eliminating body odors, abscesses, and other skin sores in people as well as animals. In fact it’s a great help for any digestive problems, constipation, or diarrhea.

  1. I have had a break out on my skin when I never had a blemish. The only thing I changed was that I got a stronger dose of the green stuff. 100 mg. per tsp.
    I hope that its not it.
    Ant suggestions?

  2. I take greens from my garden.
    Spinach, Lamb’sQuarter, Mints, Jute, and Nastritium and blend this in the blender with enough water.
    THen I pour it all into a glass jug and let it sit in the sun.
    THen I strain it, and drink it all day.
    Its the best.
