Hand Over Palm Gesture

(Mana mahu lali? The “clown” caught red handed. Poster by Mob’s Crib)

Politicians…can be very creative indeed when it comes to cover their back sides.

I read this in Malaysiakini of Bung Mokhtar Radin (BN-Kinabatangan)’s “unparliamentarily” gestures:-

Met later, Bung was unrepentant and said as he is often the subject of Pakatan MPs’ ‘points of order’, he was, therefore, unfazed by their latest attempt.

“It’s up to them. I have no problem with the gesture,” he told reporters at Parliament lobby. He added that different MPs have their own “style” of expressing themselves and the gesture he made was part of his own style.

Unrepentant? Hmm, why I am not surprised?

So, if going by Bung’s logics, if any MP shows the middle finger to him or Pak Lah in Parliament, it is still ok? I am sure we have many styles of showing the middle finger.

Not wonder we have clowns (no offence to professional clowns out there) with crap in their mouth running around the Parliament, sigh.
