(Karnan – well acted by the late Sivaji Ganesan)
A couple of days ago, I watched the movie “Karnan”…
The movie acted by Sivaji Ganesan is about a character from the epic Mahabharata. It was well acted and informative but that is not I wanted to talk about. In the movie, there was grand scene of a battle between the Pandavas and the Kauravas.
This got me thinking – could my ancestors (or of any of my friends or distant relatives) fought along the Pandavas and Kauravas (or any similar epic battles)? How they would have survived the years of battle and destruction?
Far fetched but still it is an interesting thought – just like how mankind migrated from a single source in Africa, survived harsh weather, wild animals and unforgiving terrain and survived and diversified into many factions now.
As I said, it got me thinking…
