Bersih 2.0: Reform Cause Torpedoed?

Ya, ya still on Bersih 2.0 rally but this is the last one, I promise…

(The famed stand-off between the peaceful protestors and police who bend on breaking up the rally at whatever the cost. Poster source: Mob’s Crib)

It has been interesting reading everyone’s post rally experiences, opinions and suggestions over Bersih 2.0’s recent rally and there have been gems such as these:-

The iconic image of Bersih 2.0 was refreshing; that of its leader Ambiga Sreenivasan, former Bar Council President, serenely leaving the Istana after an audience with the King.

Speechless Corruption

What the MACC still waiting for? The usual green light from the top?

Malaysia’s Chicken & Egg Story

(Long before the illusive 1Malaysia came along, Malaysia already been a multi racial, multi cultural country. We had our differences but we don’t see our fellow Malaysians as threats. Image source: http://ajinbgagah.blogspot.com)

It has been in everyone’s mind but no one dared to say or do the obvious…

Aizuddin Danian of VOI posted something that worth our serious consideration:-

Pakatan Gangsters

(After PKR, the next PR party in trouble in DAP but are they? Image source: http://www.fahnenversand.de)

In the same breath the Pakatan Gangsters conducted a candle light vigil against the ISA yesterday. The vigil was just a distraction – to divert attention away from the crap that is now hitting the fan: their links with gangsterism

Gangsterism is increasing in Selangor and consequently in Kuala Lumpur.

Hitting Palace’s Fan

Money is everywhere to spend but almost none for the taxpayers

(The current palace is already looking majestic and we have already spent millions on it but we went ahead to construct a new palace. We end up looking like dungus but what the heck, we been in that situation before.[Click to read the rest] “Hitting Palace’s Fan”

Doing Up Series

(Steve Job’s same style of shirt, jeans and shoes over the years – this looks like a series too. Image source: http://www.fastcompany.com)

Well, sometimes I am full of creativity juice that I can write a lot – simple “yes or no” email ends up becoming one page detail analysis. I do try to keep things simple and easy but once I get too excited, I do tend to forget to limit my words.… [Click to read the rest] “Doing Up Series”

Read the earlier post here

(More subsidy for the “one of the most profitable” budget airline in the world but less for the people under the Government’s economic masterplan? Image source: http://www.theage.com.au)

OutSyed The Box further reveals:-

PM’s Lelong, Lelong

This post in Malaysiakini is just too good to be missed a read:-

‘DEAL OR NO DEAL’ FALLS FLAT

By Mariam Mokhtar

As they say, politicians are like nappies – they should be changed often and for the same reasons. Yesterday, the people of Sibu made history when they elected DAP and rejected BN.
