The writing event of the year is finally here – NaNoWriMo or National Novel Writing Month.
The Unexpected Mission is the title of my entry for 2009’s NaNoWriMo and it has taken me about 11 months to complete it to my satisfaction.

I am sorry for not writing very regularly for the blog.
It is just that I have been busy with work and during the night and on the weekends, I have been “burning the midnight oil” on my novel for the NaNoWriMo 2009. Since I have been concentrating all my free times on this venture, as at todate I have completed almost 92% of the 50,000 words which was required to win the NaNoWriMo 2009 and I still have another 8 days to complete the balance 8% words.… [Click to read the rest] “Nearing 50,000 words”
As at todate, have managed to pass the 11,000 words threshold and should be hitting 12,000 words by midnight tonight. Having 2 days off with nothing to do have provided with plenty of free time to extend the number of words clocked.

For those who are interested to read, I have uploaded the pdf version of the story in Google Docs.… [Click to read the rest] “NaNoWriMo 2008 – Final Copy”

Despite not having a firm plot for this year, I have managed to complete almost 3,600 words on the first day itself. As I keep writing, I managed to get more ideas on how to expand the the current plot.… [Click to read the rest] “First Day NaNoWriMo 2009”
Just one day before the start of NaNoWriMo 2009 and to tell you the truth, I have yet to firm up the plot for this year’s writing month. I have some plots in mind but yet to decide which of it will allow me to write at least 50,000 words.
