Tamil Movie Review: Beautiful Sarvam Thaala Mayam 2019, GV Prakash High Point Movie

GV Prakash Sarvam Thaala Mayam Tamil Music Movie

Before Sarvam Thaala Mayam, my impression of GV Prakash is that he is a really good music director who has composed some of the best hits in the Tamil movie industry. I had never rated him as a good actor perhaps due to the types of roles that he has done in the past.

My personal favourite is his composition for the 2010 Tamil movie, Aayirathil Oruvan titled “Maalai Neram” sung by Andrea Jeremiah. He also did a great job in music scoring for other blockbusters like Madrasapattinam, Deiva Thirumagal and Raja Rani. Image source: Wikipedia.

Nostalgic Tamil Song 101: Revisiting Classic Kanmaniye Kadhal Enbathu by Ilaiyaraaja 1979

Aarilirunthu Arubathu Varai Rajinikanth Kanmaniye Kadhal Enbathu Song Tamil

The 1979 movie starring Rajinikanth titled Aarilirunthu Arubathu Varai is still one of the best movies starring Rajinikanth and one great song from Ilaiyaraaja. Yes, life can be unfair, harsh and lopsided and there are plenty of examples in this movie. Poster source: Awesome Machi

Movie Review: Independence Day: Resurgence 2016 – the Good, Bad and the Ugly

Independence Day Resurgence 2016 Movie Review Coke Jeff Goldblum

I still remember watching the first movie, Independence Day which came out in 1996 in the old Rex theatre together with my siblings and we were sitting on the premium class on the first floor.

On the very scene when David Levinson introduced a virus into the alien ship’s shield and asks Major Steven Mitchell to shoot the can, we actually heard the can flying from the right to the left in the theatre. It was a blockbuster that year. Image source: Tumblr.

My Favourite Tamil Song 101: Beautiful Vidyasagar Tamil Hits Part 1

Vidyasagar Tamil Music

It is difficult to place Vidyasagar in the Tamil movie scene – you see the 1980s and 1990s was dominated by the one and only Maestro Illayaraja and then 2000s thereafter we had AR Rahman changing the whole way we hear Tamil songs and then we had other music directors like Vidyasagar. Tamil Movie Review: Inspiring Bharath Ennum Naan 2018

Bharath Ennum Naan 2018 Mahesh Babu Telugu Movie Tamil

Bharath Ennum Naan is actually a 2018 Telugu movie titled “Bharat Ane Nenu” that was dubbed in Tamil (it was dubbed incredibly well – kudos to the dubbing team). Image source: IMDB

Bharath Ennum Naan means I, Bharat was acted extremely well by Mahesh Babu who plays a reluctant son of a dead Chief Minister who suddenly pushed into the hot seat by his father’s close who is also the kingmaker in the state.

Movie Review 101: Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker 2019

star wars

Probably no thanks to the bad reviews (or not), we had been setting aside the urge to watch this third instalment of the Star Wars sequel trilogy which incidentally also is the final episode of the nine-part “Skywalker saga” as soon as it comes to the cinemas. Poster source: www.starwars.com.

IT 2017 – Disheartened Scenes

Read These First:-

IT

(If you have read the IT, the novel, the clown known as Pennywise The Dancing Clown is actually an alien – a shape shifting monster ended up on prehistoric Earth during an asteroid impact and made its home under the land and would sleep for approximately 27 to 30 years at a time, using its time awake to wreak chaos and feed on human fear. IT came out in 2017…

Had anyone watched the evil clown movie called IT?

This horror movie came out in 2017 – I had wanted to watch it in theater back then but I did not have any chance and over time I had forgotten about it. Then last week, I managed to catch this movie and I now know why people got scared of clowns (more sighting happened in US before this movie came out). Seeing a clown with a red balloon standing in front of you did would have sent a shiver down anyone’s spine. It is worst if you (like me) prefer watching this movie late at night, expecting the unexpected.
