Netflix is showcasing a new live-action series based on the animated one which follows a similar storyline but whilst, it visually looks better, I still prefer the animated version. The role of Aang, Noah Ringer who played the character in the 2010 movie looks better than this actor.

Whilst the 2010 movie version was a disappointment to many of the die-hard animation series, there was no lack of great visual considering it was done by the same Industrial Light and Magic team that worked on the Star Wars movies. For that alone, one can still enjoy the 2010 movie version.
