Childhood Memories: Part 5 – The Scary Deer Head At Grandma’s House

My grandmother’s house was heaven on earth but there is one thing that I am truly afraid of is the huge deer head on the wall high up in the living room. Image source: Pxfuel

Continuing the weekly series – read Part 4 here

By evening, most of the people in the house would be in their rooms or the kitchen. The living room would be empty and silent. I would be playing running between the kitchen and the living room.

When I come to the living room, I would look up and see this deer head (it’s a fake as I found out years later). It seems like the deer is staring at me, watching my every move. It’s so real that I often had to drag my grandma to accompany me to the living room.
