My son was given a question with some pictures. The question was – “which of these does not need petrol”. Below the question were pictures of a car, motorbike, bicycle and aeroplane.
My son looked at the pictures and duly answered “Bicycle and Airplane”
The teacher looked at the answer and politely explained that the answer is “Bicycle” only. My son looked at the question and said:-
“I followed Daddy to petrol station many times. Not once I have seen an airplane refuelling at the petrol station”
The teacher was lost for words!
As I said, kids do say the darndest things, ain’t they?
