My first large-scale experience with LED lights is when I decided to get an electrician to add new fans in the bedrooms and replace all the fluorescent lights in the house with brighter, more lasting lights. In some places like the living room, I added extra double lights which make the whole area very bright. There was not much work required for replacing fluorescent with LED lights but working with LED strips for the kitchen cabinet is going to be different. Photo by Max Rahubovskiy.
Before I forget about this, this is a continuation of the DIY project to repair the broken kitchen cabinet which initially started with the idea of just changing the rusted hinges but it went on into a proper makeover of the whole kitchen cabinet as the tabletop was still in good condition.
One of the must-have items when one moves into a new house is getting kitchen cabinets installed for the kitchen which will make the kitchen look more organised. The expensive ones are made from a special alloy which is resistant to rust, water & tear and more importantly terminates. Image source: Pexel / Diego
Water leaking in the house can be a nightmare for anyone and personally, we have experienced water leaks in the past before and this was mainly from the rooftop water tank which we end up having to replace twice & one was from rainwater through gaps between roof tiles. Waterproofing the main areas of the bathrooms will be the next DIY project at home. Photo by PS Photography from Pexels.
Solar panels on the roofs of every home will go a long way to reducing the cost of energy in this country but we have yet to have the space or the money for this project for now. However, there are other things we did that improved productivity and cut costs at home. Image source: http://www.eurocosm.com/
Disclaimer: Making things easy at home does not mean they will be cheap. Some “investments” will be required.
