For those who have not read M Bakri Musa’s excellent post on NEM titled “NEM and NEP – Only One Letter Different!” you should give it a serious read – it is interesting and thought-provoking.

Based on what I been hearing from family and friends, this movie directed by Gautham Menon (who also directed the excellent Vettaiyaadu Vilaiyaadu) seems to be THE Tamil movie of the year.

Najib has just launched NEM or in full, New Economic Model (some says identical to Pakatan Rakyat’s economy model) which supposedly replaces the New Economic Policy. But the question is what the impact on Malaysia and its people is?

Just wondering how our highway concessionaires are prepared for emergencies on the tolled highways especially when the visibility is low and the roads are slippery. I got a nasty sample of how Litrak (the concessioner for LDP) handles it.

Let’s talk about something else that seems to take a back seat amidst the political circus in Malaysia – the environment and in particular, the level of recycling in Malaysia.

(Perhaps still angry with the laziness of people not using their indicators when they are on the road and the law is not doing any enforcement on it)
I caught some photos of queue jumpers over the weekend. The lane reserved for the bus lane becomes a short cut for the queue jumpers and ending up creating unnecessary bottlenecks at the front.
