The culprits selling the master lists include staff of developers’ office, banks, car distributors and telecommunication companies. Such lists are highly sought by agents of companies dealing in real estate, credit cards, holiday time-sharing, insurance and anti-car theft gadgets.

By now, most of you have read about V. Krishnamal who was named the Mother of the Year at the Sri Murugan Centre’s 11th Kalvi Yathirai (educational pilgrimage). There are similar stories in every community (Chinese, Malay, others). These are the stories that inspire us and push us to do our very best.

At first, you are delusional as where you are but you regain your senses to realize that you are in a windowless prison cell. You remember now…that you have killed someone due to an uncontrolled rage and the court found you guilty of murder.

I am not sure you guys but I have learned a lot on chemistry during my showers. For example, now I know that the scientific name for sunflower and corn is helianthus annuus (no double thinking here) and zea mays. This brings back old memory (unpleasant memories actually) from my Form Six Science Stream days when remembering chemical names were just too tough.

Finally, I had a chance to watch the movie “War of the Worlds” after being disappointed 2 weeks ago. We went to Sunway Pyramid. Everything was perfect, the parking was plentiful, we got the centre seats, the audience behaved themselves except for few Arabs who came in late and was struggling in the dark looking for their seats.

After weeks of heavy discussion and reporting on the UMNO General Assembly and how the UMNO Youth is campaigning for the Malays by asking an extension of the crutch (aka NEP), many of us have expressed our comments, alternative steps and some, dissatisfaction via forums, blog and etc. Read here, here, here and here for some interesting comments.

I went to Tesco last week and my wife stopped to buy facial cream. I was glancing through the products and surprisingly there are more grooming products for men now compared to 10 years ago.

How things have changed. I still remember of the time when I was still riding motorbike to work, I actually had 2 types of facial wash (one is a backup lor) in my bag.

You have heard about it before …it is similar to Chinese’s art of feng shui. It is called Vaastu (Sastra). Vaastu dates back to the times when the sages lived – probably 6,000 – 3,000 BC.

How Vaastu works

Vaastu works on three principles of design that cover the entire premise:-

1) The first one is Bhogadyam, which says that the designed premise must be useful and lend itself to easy application

2) The second is Sukha Darsham, in which the designed premise must be aesthetically pleasing.
