Outbreak 2020: Stupidity When the Law Is Seriously Clear

covid19 stupidity minister politicians law

(The law is equal to all – in other words, there is no one above the law so the application of the law to anyone would need to be the same. But in reality, there seems to be some inequality when it comes to enforcing the law. Image source: Facebook)

The problem with some politicians in the country is that once they have broken a law, instead of accepting that they have knowingly or unknowingly broken the law and apologising and taking the punishment under the law, they lie and try to cover it up with dumb excuses.… [Click to read the rest] “Outbreak 2020: Stupidity When the Law Is Seriously Clear”

Being a Mean, Angry Hulk in 2016!

(One of the best scene from the Avengers – Hulk vs a God and guess who won. I watched this scene probably hundred times and I never got bored with it. Image source: http://reactiongifs.me)

It was “bang” leaving 2015 – we all watched the new Star Wars movie and we all loved it from the start to the end.… [Click to read the rest] “Being a Mean, Angry Hulk in 2016!”

MH370: Time to Reassess the Shortcomings

MH370

(Substitute the chill beer, wine and other liquors on a board with locally made, sugar high cendol and a plane is guaranteed not to crash into the sea – so says a joker in Malaysia. Perhaps he is right but then again this is not the right time and the place to say these things.[Click to read the rest] “MH370: Time to Reassess the Shortcomings”

Governance 101: Seriously, It’s Only Common Sense, Right?

Common Sense

(It is common sense that petrol stations have plenty of flammable fuel, so imagine seeing a fire at the petrol station. Now imagine if you are next to it or worst, you and your love ones in the inferno. Image source: http://www.greentechmedia.com)

You probably have seen the above sign at your nearest petrol station but you probably acted like an idiot and ignored it anyway.… [Click to read the rest] “Governance 101: Seriously, It’s Only Common Sense, Right?”

Enforcement 101: Ops Sikap, Authorities Should Be Blamed Too 2

mat rempit enforcement menace motorcyclist skinning ops sikap

(What we need in Ops Sikap is more stringent enforcement instead of just enforcement – it is high time the police get tough with hardcore traffic law abusers. Image source: http://lagunamerbok.blogspot.com)

Update: I guess it is unfair to point the fingers at the police alone although they do handle the bulk of the enforcement since there are other agencies involved namely JPJ who handle licensing & training and JKJR who handle the overall coordination and road safety-related activities

(One reason why we need to enforce Ops Sikap – it looks like a plague, idiots on the road without helmet creating a nuisance and endangering others and the worse ones even have young kids on the motorcycle. Image source: http://drhanie.blogspot.com/)

Attitude 101: A Simple Thank You Reduces Road Tension

thumbs up driving thank you

(Thumbs up as a sign of thank you instead of the middle finger is always welcomed on a stressful drive home, more so after doing a good deed instead of being a nuisance to fellow road users. Image source: Pinterest)

How many times you have said “Thank You” to someone else today, two days ago, a week ago or a month ago?… [Click to read the rest] “Attitude 101: A Simple Thank You Reduces Road Tension”

The Price of Enforcement

(Perhaps still angry with the laziness of people not using their indicators when they are on the road and the law is not doing anything about it)

I caught these photos over the weekend…

(The driver of the white Proton Wira – not only selfish enough to cut queue but rubs the salt on the wound by putting on the indicator.[Click to read the rest] “The Price of Enforcement”

Driving Skills 101: Car Divers Beyond My Comprehension

This morning, I was waiting at the building lobby when I saw a car entering the entrance to the lobby area and it stopped right in front of the lobby.
