I was very proud when I saw a Malaysian, well made Special Force movie called Paskal in 2018 and then in 2020, I watched URI: The Surgical Strike which showed that great Special Force movies can be produced outside Hollywood. I always had a soft spot for anything that is related to the military and especially on topics related to the Special Forces units within the military – I think I told this more than once in this blog. Every movie regardless it is romantic, action, war or comedy, there must be a sense of good storyline and when it comes to action or war, there must be a good use of tactics. If it involves the military, then we expect nothing but the very best when it comes to tactics, skills, strategy and use of specialised weapons.
A couple of news in the last few weeks has been rather unsettling especially in relation to Rohingyas who had always made Malaysia their desired country to run to after leaving the refugee camp in Bangladesh. Infographic source: Anadolu Agency
Now it looks like they have found another place to stop over before making their run to Malaysia where there is a bigger crowd of them making trouble.
This story of a young girl named Malak whose father and mother had died tragically is indeed has been an eye-opener on the plight of innocent refugee children in the many war zones around the world. The situation around the world is now even more precarious with the COVID19 pandemic which also saw the reduction of travel and aid. Image source: Preemptive Love
Everyone reports information to FinCEN and this includes banks from unlikely countries like China. Bank transactions leave a trail of paperwork and footprints and this is how some people get caught. Image source: International Consortium of Investigative Journalists
Seriously, despite the obvious implications, there are still really stupid people out there who not only endanger themselves with their stupidity but also endanger others with massive infections. They have become as dangerous as the COVID19 virus which had killed more than 700,000 people around the world. Don’t they read and watch the news? Are these people just plain stupid? When it comes to guarding the illegal refugees, illegal fishermen and terrorists from intrusions of the borders of this nation, one can say that the Malaysian military such as RMN has been done rather quite well. Of course, there are some shortcomings in the form of coordination enforcement and equipment that need to be fine-tuned. Image source: Wikipedia
Seriously, the Pakatan Harapan government needs to go to a corner and reflect on its decision when it comes to bringing former ISIS terrorists and their radicalised families back to Malaysia. Why we are rolling out the red carpet to these terrorists? Infographic source: ISIS
In a galaxy far, far away, these rebels including the beautiful Princess Leia would have been tagged as terrorists in the eyes of the Empire. I am sure many would protest. So what defines someone as a terrorist? Someone who been brainwashed with a twisted interpretation of religion and race and kills innocent people? Or is it someone who has taken up armed resistance to a rogue occupation or an evil dictator? Image source: Starwars.com.
