Hi folks, it has been some time since I last blogged – frankly speaking, I have been spending more time at other places (some DIYs at home, updating my Facebook, watching Youtube, playing games, etc) instead of blogging. But it does not mean I have not been keeping up with the snippets – unfortunately, there are more depressing snippets on where this country is heading. In fact, this snippet post and the title had been on a draft mode for months and had undergone several edits so don’t be surprised if you are reading very old snippets here.

Lunatic Acts Before the General Elections – Part 1

By now, they say when the is around the corner, expect some form of lunatic acts and strange things will happen. The sky will turn sweet pink and you will see coming down from their place in the sky down to earth and share the way of life and hardships of the people.

P.s. It has been more than 2 months down the line, the in the (or rather my arm) have reduced drastically. It has been improving on daily basis after I had started the cervical traction treatment, sleeping without pillows and DIY neck . It has not gone completely but at least now, I don’t have that pain whenever I drive which is great and is a big relief.

Well, let’s read this interesting piece of development when it comes to the direction of the nation:-

now has a National Space Policy to allow the country to look into developing technologies related to aerospace and turn it into a new economic contributor.

With the policy in place, authorities can plan to develop this sector systematically and ensure it is well managed so that the nation will benefit from it.

Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak said that fields related to space science, be it research or creating new technologies, have vast potential and he was confident that Malaysia could become a significant contributor to the world in these areas.

The Prime Minister said he was happy to read about the success story of astrophysics PhD student Nurul Adlyka Ainul Annuar, whose discovery in the field of astronomy made headlines around the world.

Well, it finally happened – that “The Apprentice” guy, Donald becomes the 45th President of the United States of America on 20th January 2017.

So it was not a big surprise when Trump decided to “shake” things down once he had officially taken office – Trump has been talking about throughout his campaign. And that includes his promise to build the wall against Mexico (funding aside) and stopping people from certain countries from entering the country.

Nuisance 101: Damn, I Hate Cats! They Are So Evil!

One of the joys of moving a new house many years ago was the chance to do up a garden.

It was a joy because we used to stay in apartments which do not enough for a garden (I mean a proper garden where we can dig in and plant things). So when I had the chance to buy a house of my own, I had great ideas on what I wanted to do with my garden, starting with beautiful carpet grass.

And when my dad retired and looking for a hobby to spend his time at home, he took up gardening. And he was good at it too – a mango tree at the front, several types of flowering plants and he would spend hours running through the carpet grass to look for weeds. At one point, carpet grass was clean and trimmed and was wonderful to walk on.

And then evil descended at my neighbourhood…
