Tech News 101: Free & New Windows XP Theme
Although I have been using Linux at home since last week, I still have to use Windows XP at the office and because of that, I tend to be on the lookout for good Windows theme to brighten up my desktop.

It took almost 4 days but I have finally managed to solve my home computer problem and in doing so, I have gone 100% Linux at home. It felt like I just came out from an operation – performing major surgery on a dying patient.
It may the case of Microsoft secretly adding an internal program that will cause the system to crash whenever it detects the user trying to install any operating system that is not Windows-based such as Linux.
Even my son helped out in the house shifting by packing and arranging his toys – seen here the next day exhausted and resting at the entrance.
I don’t why but somehow I been thinking about this show titled “Little House of the Prairie” –shown back in the 80’s in our local TV lately (others that has been in my mind is those old movies starring MGR and Sivaji Ganesan). Just before the prayers for the house started, all I could do was to walkabout, sat down, walked, checked the full moon outside, sat down, walked and then looked at the watch.
Damn, still “early” for the early morning prayers – read Part 1 here and Part 2 here. I was restless, sleepy, anxious and excited in one go.
I thought the difficult part of shifting to the new house was done and over but I was wrong; it did not turn out exactly like that.
(Don’t worry – this has nothing to do with Merdeka or the Budget 2007 but a major house shifting process)
The preparations for my new house are well underway.
The contractor for the renovation of the house has been picked and the price has been agreed. It is nothing major though – I will not be breaking any walls for the house renovations. Just a simple fixing of the kitchen cabinet and the grilles would do under Phase 1.
