Ya, why not? When Malaysians, in general, are condemning the blatant use of ISA, one might as well join in the bandwagon, right?

Well, since the Malays have done it (Anwar Ibrahim and Shabery on the fuel price hike) and the Chinese have done it (Lim Guan Eng and Koh Tsu Koon on land scam issue in Penang), the Indians might as well have a go at this debate thing.

I chatted with a friend last night and we talked about my post on Manya Blogger Award. He asked whether there have been proposals for MIC to rectify their mistakes. Although I am not in favour of racial based political party (Pakatan Rakyat makes more sense), it is only fair to tell someone of their mistakes and ways to rectify before we can “whack” them. Hardly caused us to raise our eyebrows these days but still…
BN or rather UMNO were well known for their double standards and we thought after the hard screwing that they got after the last general election; these people would have toned down. But how we were proven to be so wrong?
The hoo-haa that they created when DAP wanted to boycott the swearing in of MB Perak was almost non existence when they wanted to boycott the swearing of the Terengganu MB in the same manner.
The power of the internet may be discounted in some political landscape and certainly by some BN politicians but access to the Internet is one good way to wake up to the spins running in the mainstream media, playing up the Government actions and downplaying values of Opposition parties. Election time is the time when hardcore and corrupt politicians act like saints and are willing to even beg for your votes. Outside these election campaign times, the amount of scandal, abuse of power and corruption is unbelievable and can be sickening.
It’s the time of the year again for a flashback of things to reflect how the year has been for this blogger. Overall for the country, it was not good but I managed to travel to new places and got busy with work, family and blogging.
