When one is undergoing 14 days of mandatory quarantine in a small confined hotel room, trust me, the days will pass by very slowly. Even the hours seem to be taking its own “sweet time” to move. Whilst one may get excited on the first few days of being quarantined in a luxurious hotel room, one will soon get bored with the routine and yes, with the food which more or less from the same list of menu.
The trip to Cambodia started off rather early in the morning with me waking up early and
double triple checking everything that I suppose bring along for the long work assignment overseas. The kids were deeply asleep but just before I left the house, they were awake to say goodbye.

After I had embarked on my personal ‘Overhaulin’ project, many things have changed – I have become more careful when I am on the road these days.
It is not a big secret that a hungry Malaysian is an ugly Malaysian. Add the opportunity for free food and you will get ugly and brainless Malaysian. Often it would look like a bunch of refugees rushing to grab on whatever food is there. Photo credit: ILRI/Mann
