Probably taking a leaf from our own Putrajaya, Napyitaw or Naypyidaw is Myanmar’s administration city which is located about 370 kilometres from Yangon. It has the very famous, 20 lane roads in Myanmar which do not make sense considering there are hardly any vehicles in the city. Based on the estimates in the Google Map, driving from Yangon to Naypyidaw, Myanmar using the expressway will take a gruelling 4 hours and 40 minutes. Burma or Myanmar as it is known now is always remembered for Burma’s Death Railway in World War 2 where it is said in total 62,000 POWs was forced to work on the death railway by the Japanese and almost 13,000 of them had died.

The image shows the Malaysian Tamils who were forced from their homes in then Malaya working on the construction of the death railway and who suffered worst than the Allied POWs with out of some 100,000 who was forced to work, 60,000 died. Presently China has 2 battle-ready aircraft carriers, both of which is based on Russia’s ex-aircraft carrier but this is not stopping them from constructing more aircraft carriers. It is said that they may have up to 6 aircraft carriers including nuclear-powered ones. However, be very mindful that the young voters are more tech-savvy, educated, well aware of the constraints & abuses of race and religion in their future development and are indeed quite concerned about the direction of the nation. The question is how attractive the current political parties are to these new voters.

The Bayeux Tapestry was one of the key art items that the Nazis during World War 2 eyed to be stolen and brought back to Germany to be displayed in their new Fuhrer Museum where artworks from all the Germany occupied countries would be displayed.
