It makes a lot of sense that vaccination for a major pandemic like COVID19 should not come from only one source. That is why most countries are looking at a cocktail of different vaccines from different manufacturers. In Malaysia, we are also looking at the different types of vaccines; spread over 3 main phases lasting till April 2022.

A few days ago, a Facebook page called “DashCam Owners Malaysia” for obvious reasons uploaded an accident video that shows a lady motorcyclist casually crossing several lanes without even looking to her right for the on-coming traffic.

Rightfully and deservingly she was hit by a car causing her to fly and fall in front of the car. See the grab shots from the video – it is clear that she is in great pain after the accident but most of the commentators on Facebook agreed that she well deserved it.

Mandatory Quarantine 2020: Part 6 – Glorious Malaysian Quarantine Meals (3)

Food Quarantine

This will probably be the last post on quarantine food for the obvious reason – the rest of the menu was more or so a mix of the previous meals. I guess this is due to the control of the meal by the Ministry of Health and not left to the creativity of the hotel chefs (but then again it could be worse).

Another reason for having a similar dish served on a daily basis was probably is the cost factor. Having limited menu would probably make it easy for the hotel to plan their purchases and prepare the meals.

Mandatory Quarantine 2020: Part 3 – Arriving At Home Away From Home

(The view from my quarantine room which unfortunately was nothing to shout about but at least I could get some sunlight into the room. When I am bored, I will look over when the office workers are leaving the parking lot in the next building for a change of sight)

This will be the second time that we will be undergoing 2 weeks of COVID19 quarantine but compared to the first time quarantine in Cambodia, the quarantine in Malaysia with Malaysian food and Malaysian hospitality is always welcomed.
