Sivaji Ganesan passed away on 21st July 2001 at an age of 72 and by then had acted in some 288 movies; a majority of it has been in Tamil movies.
Kamal Haasan has always had a special and a key role for the legendary Nagesh in his movies (the other usual collaborator with Kamal is actorDelhi Ganesh) and Nagesh who had always played a comical role has proved to be a very versatile actor with different roles with Kamal Haasan. It is a fact that we cannot separate “crying scenes” from Tamilmovies especially when you watch the old movies. but sometimes sadness can come in other forms as well especially when you have Kamal in the lead role.
I may have my “bad moments” with Tamil movies (and worse ones are the Tamil Serials) but I have to admit that some Tamil movies or some scenes are simply gems. I talked about comedies in Tamil movies and coming to the other spectrum of comedy, this has to be one of my favourite sad moments from Tamil movies has to be this:-
