The good thing is we had installed fibre optics internet way before the pandemic hit our shores but over time, as more devices hooked to the internet and some areas of the house encountered wifi dead zones, we had to look at a solution for this.

The downside of online purchases is that one cannot be able to physically inspect the items before purchase. And I admit that I got burned more than twice of which I managed to get a refund for some and for others, a chance to throw away into the dustbin.

We will need to spend extra on the accessories namely the fine white sand, aquatic plants; lava rocks and of course fishes. We had 2 other aquariums at home before but it was not attractive as we did not add the right accessories and we had to throw them away after they had a crack.

Continuing with the best things that I have bought online, one of the best things that unfortunately did not last long is cheap China-made smartphones and smartphone covers.
One of the fine examples is Leagoo M8 smartphone which I bought online for RM263.20 and that was for a kill considering the phone’s specifications. In the end, I had to replace this phone as it got outdated and it had problems with the screen sensors. Image source: Mesramobile
