Polish the car!
This post is going to get 8555 to high beam me…
I had made it a practice to have my car polished & waxed at least once every 6 – 8 months. It is for a simple reason – to maintain and preserve the metallic paint. With an average car going through the tropical sun, heavy acid rain and pollution, it is not a surprise if you find cars with fast deteriorating paint layers – sometimes it is so bad that you may think that it has been hit by some rabies.… [Click to read the rest] “Polish the car!”
The unexpected traffic and KL drivers
It is always been a sound idea to go for an outstation trip a week or so after a major holidays. The last thing I want to do on a holiday is to waste time and risk myself in heavy traffic jams on the highway. So, when the long break during Chinese New Year came, we were holed up in our house and only made short distance driving
So when I decided to go to Taiping a week after the long break, I had expected an almost traffic free lanes on the highway and I was right.
Playing with “Oranges”

Inspired by my “photo discovery” over the last weekend, here are more photos for the blog!
My Fuji Finepix A210 digital camera is not high-tech as compared to some of the digital cameras in the market these days. It has decent specifications – 3.2 MP, uses 2 AA batteries and has 3 times optical zoom.… [Click to read the rest] “Playing with “Oranges””

Pak Lah – the Commissioner
In the NST yesterday, Pak Lah announced the formation of an independent body to monitor and receive complaints of police misconduct.
You know what, I was thinking of writing on how I can help Pak Lah to extend the “Commission” coverage to other areas. Down the Smoking Alley
I was working at my desk, going through the list of month end delinquent corporate clients when I got a call from my division head. He wanted to have a short discussion with the unit heads and managers before he goes off for a last minute management meeting tomorrow morning. So,
20 Ringgit – enough for Dating?
For those who were listening to THR last Saturday, hosted by the witty DJ, Ram would know what I mean. Ram posed this scenario to the listeners and asked for their funny & creative replies:-
You have been very busy at work and have not gone out with your girlfriend for some time now.

How about this for a “good” resume?
This is part of an attachment that I got in my inbox today. Probably you have seen it before. It is funny whilst at the same time unbelievable. Someone had a great sense of humour!
There was a note attachment mentioning that it is from the Financial Post (Toronto) dated 23rd February 2001.
The “Review” of the Review of BJ Thoughts
.
I always wanted an independent review of my blog (ok, not always but recently) and a recent review by the Blog Critic was just the answer.
A rating of 6 out 10 is a good start (ok, at least it was over and above the average) and it will great to work on getting a better rating in future (did I just wrote that?
