When I am at home and I strike a good idea or when I am driving from work and I get pissed off with the number of idiots on the road or when I am at the office and I overheard something funny or when I surf the net and find something brilliant, there is plenty of things that I want to write down (some posts have the potential to be the killer post of the year).

Childhood Memories: Part 19 – Driving My Uncle’s Gutsy Car

Last week I attended my niece’s birthday party and as usual, once the cake has been cut and the dinner has started, my cousins and myself made our way to the outside of the house, set up a table on the porch, rounded several chairs and started to chit chat over a large bottle of liquor and wine. As usual, such chit chat continued until wee hours in the morning.

Travelling 101: Pushing Nimble Viva Up North

We were clearly able to pick up speed to 100 kilometres per hour on the highway but it comes with a problem – stability. Perodua Viva do not come with the Lotus DNA, unlike the other national cars.

It has been in our plans to have at least 2 cars at home which will serve a different purpose and the addition of the small Perodua Viva was just considering the time. And once we have cleared the first 1,000 kilometres service, we decided on a drive up North and we took the Viva instead the usual bigger car.

The unexpected traffic and KL drivers

It is always been a sound idea to go for an outstation trip a week or so after a major holidays. The last thing I want to do on a holiday is to waste time and risk myself in heavy traffic jams on the highway. So, when the long break during Chinese New Year came, we were holed up in our house and only made short distance driving

So when I decided to go to Taiping a week after the long break, I had expected an almost traffic free lanes on the highway and I was right.
