The number of daily new COVID19 infections only has kept increasing with every day seeing the numbers recording new records.

As of 29th May 2021, Malaysia saw a new number of 9,020 COVID19 infections making a total of 558,534 COVID19 infections todate. Worst is the number of deaths – it was highest thus far at 98 deaths making a total of 2,650 deaths todate.

Outbreak 2021: State of Selangor – Absurd High Virus Infection, Low Vaccination Rates

Today Malaysia recorded 6,075 new COVID19 infections, with 2,251 of the cases was from the State of Selangor which had continued to be the state with the highest number of cases for the last few months. Infographic source: Malay Mail.

It is said that there is a sudden increase in the number of cases due to the Selangor State Government’s initiation to open numerous testing centres in the state.

In 2015 the Government made it mandatory for residents to separate their waste at the source and I was happy that finally something concrete being done on the manner our garbage is being processed.
